Counsels of the Holy Fathers:

He is vain who puts his trust in man or in any created thing.  Be not ashamed to serve others for the love of Jesus Christ, and to be poor in this world for His sake.  Trust not in yourself, but set all your trust in God, be faithful to Him, do all in your power to please Him, and He will assist your good will.  Trust not in your wisdom or in the wisdom of plans of any living creature, but instead, in the Grace of God who helps humble persons and allows those who presume of themselves to fall until they are humbled.  Glory not in your riches, or your worldly friends, because they are mighty; let all your glory be in God only, who gives all things and desires to give Himself above all things.

Prayer: Dear God, I pray for the gift of faithfulness, that I may always follow You and Your way, instead of my own weak inclinations.  Heavenly Father sometimes I am surrounded by those who do not believe as I do, both in word and action.  I pray for the strength and the determination to be faithful to Your way of life at any cost! Amen.   Our journey toward You O Lord is a daily struggle to be faithful to You.  Help us and lead us Dear Lord & Savior Jesus Christ to become what You have called us to be in this life!!!!!!!

There will be a Town Hall Membership Meeting following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday June 24th in the Sanctuary. This will be a very important meeting to discuss and vote on the proposed new Stewardship Program for our Parish.

Summer Schedule of Church Services

June 17th-September 16th  Divine Liturgy begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 11:00 a.m.  Regular Schedule will resume on Sunday September 24th, 2007.  No Requiems on July 15th, August 12th, & September 16th, 2007

There will be Morning Prayer Services on the following Sundays:

Sunday, July 1st- Morning Prayer at 10:00 a.m.
Sunday, July 8th- Morning Prayer at 10:00 a.m.
Sunday, September 2nd- Morning Prayer – 10:00 a.m.

Helena Ren Dawe daughter of David & Michelle Dawe was baptized into the Holy Mother Church on June 9th, 2007.
Godparents were James Apovian III and Kimberly Kaplan.
May the Lord grant her many years and good health always.
