Counsels of the Holy Fathers of the Church:
Almighty God has allowed us to fall into certain sins. This is so that He may restore hope of pardon to others, who are in the domination of sin, if they will rise up to Him with their whole heart; then He can open up for them the way to Heaven through sorrow and repentance.
Let us then occupy ourselves with sorrow, let us get rid of our sins by tears and fruits worthy of repentance, let us not lose the time that has been granted to us by God. We behold so many persons already washed clean of their iniquities: what else do we have except a pledge of mercy from our God our Heavenly Father.

Prayer: I believe, O Lord, and confess that You are in truth the Christ. I also believe that is Your very immaculate Body and this Your precious Blood... May I always recite these words with the deepest of sincerity O most Merciful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, may I pronounce these words because I truly believe in my heart and soul that You are my Savior and only You can forgive my iniquities.
