Dear Parishioners,

     Phases I and II have been successfully completed and we are now preparing for Phase III, which will be the final phase of the project. While reflecting back on the last three years, it is sometimes difficult to comprehend how such a small Church community could have accomplished so much in such little amount of time. To understand our accomplishments, we need to look no further than to the dedication and resolve of our own parishioners. Without their generosity and commitment, we would not have been able to renovate our hall, install a new heating and cooling system, completely refurbish the exterior of our Church, or do any of the other critical work that has been done over the last few years.

     The time has now come for us to call on your generosity and commitment once again and raise the funds that we need to finish the job that we started. As you may recall, Phase III consists of renovating the front vestibule area, the two front staircases, the sanctuary, the downstairs classrooms and hallways as well as the downstairs bathrooms. In addition, Phase III will include a new steeple, artistry work on the new sanctuary windows, and a lift to assist our parishioners who have difficulty getting into the sanctuary. The approximate cost to complete Phase III is between $500,000 and $600,000.

     At this time, we ask that you contribute towards the renovation of the front vestibule area, two front staircases, the entry way from the vestibule area to the classroom area, as well as for the lift and the construction needed to install the lift which in total is estimated to cost approximately $150,000. When figuring out how much you would like to donate towards this first stage of Phase III, we ask that you keep in mind the purpose for starting your project in the first place. Our parishioners and beloved Der Vartan Kassabian shared a common vision to renovate our Church which would enable us to continue our Christian faith and help those less fortunate. Although Der Vartan is no longer here to guide us physically, the Christian values supporting our project and Der Vartan’s spiritual guidance are constant and forever.

     Therefore, we ask that you be as generous as possible and do not delay in making your donation towards the first stage of Phase III. Please donate now and to the best of your ability so we can get started with the first stage of Phase III as soon as possible.
