Scripture Readings - Galatians 2:1-10- Gospel-Mark 12:35-44
Just recently while searching the internet I came upon a Church sign which read: Getting out of bed on Sunday Morning and yelling out O God does constitute going to Church. Lately I have heard some people say that I do not have to go to Church to believe in God or to be looked upon as a faithful Christian, I can pray anywhere that I choose to, and yes our Lord reminds us that wherever two or three are gathered in my there I am also. But perhaps it does us well to look at reality, not our own but the one given to us by our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Himself,
The Church is in fact the living reality of the living God, the Church is not just a building it is the presence of God's Kingdom here on earth.
When one enters the Church they enter the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, a Holy Place, the Ark of the Covenant, the Lord's House, a place of joy, peace, light, hope, faith, and tranquility. This is the dwelling where we seek to receive forgiveness as we forgive others as our Lord has forgiven us and accepted us with an unconditional love as His children. It has been proven time and time again by medical experts that those who attend worship services on a regular basis are more at peace with themselves, tend to live longer, and have less incidence of chronic disease, these are accepted facts and statistics, not fiction!!!!!!
Remember as always that the choice is yours to make! The ultimate Physician who can heal us of all our pain is Jesus Christ Our Lord.
