A Blessed, Peaceful, & Happy Mothers Day to

all of our Mothers!

For Christians holidays proclaimed by the world such as days of honor for our Mothers and Fathers are really alien and contrary to what our faith teaches us about how honor and love for our parents should be something that we practice each and everyday of our lives.
The Book of Psalms in the Old Testament contains the thoughts of the Psalmist who wrote: You shall honor thy father and thy mother so that the days of your life should be long in the land of the living.
Our parents in this particular instance our mothers are indeed a gift that has been given to us by God and indeed it is God Himself who calls us to show honor to our parents as we would show our honor and devotion to our Heavenly Father for when we show love and respect to our earthly parents then it means that we revere and honor God our Heavenly Father as well, always keep in mind that the love we show to one another is reflective of the love and honor we give back to God. The First Epistle of John reminds us of this great spiritual reality when he writes: No one has ever seen God but God’s love is manifested in the way that we treat one another. If you cannot love the people you see how can you love God whom you do not see?
Parents, children, and families have been the bedrock of not only all civilized societies but of our own as well, however the stability of the family in American Society has been threatened by the onslaught of not only immorality, but also by the blatant attempts of the secular culture to remove God from every facet of our society as a whole.

Today as we celebrate Mothers Day let us give love, honor, and respect to our Mothers not only today but every minute of everyday and remember the example of our Lord & Savior Jesus and the great honor and love He displayed to His very own Mother our Most Holy Mother of God the Ever Blessed Holy Virgin Mary.

A Blessed, peaceful, happy and healthy

Mothers Day to all !!!!!!!!!!!!!
