Hayr's Weekly Message
Praise the Lord , O Jerusalem; Praise thy God, O Sion.
Pause for a moment and think about how much our lives are just like the weather, more specifically the seasons as they change from one to the next. Everything has its time and purpose, we are reminded of this reality in the Old Testament in the Book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 in which the Prophet emphasizes that all things in life and their time are appointed by God.
The first 3 Sundays following the Resurrection of Christ are devoted to the goodness of our God as a loving and caring Heavenly Father, New Sunday, Green Sunday, and Red Sunday bring to reality the unending gifts and blessings of Our Lord and Savior through His Resurrection and the newness of life.
Today we celebrate Green Sunday and God's creation, the change from the cold and dreary to the warmth and the brightness of the springtime, with the blooming of the flowers we see and feel goodness and the awesome mystery of all that is good from the hand of our God. Yes we have so many blessings to be thankful for and so as we go from winter to spring let us remember that all good gifts come from God above and be ever so mindful that it is no coincidence that we celebrate the Resurrection in the spring for it is truly the passage from the darkness of the tomb to the joy and happiness of the light which came into the world to save us from ourselves and to rescue us from the bondage of our sins.
CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD INDEED HE IS RISEN
BLESSED BE THE GLORIOUS RESURRECTION OF CHRIST !
Please remember the ill and confined in your prayers.
