Remember that it is a Holy and wholesome thought to remember our beloved faithfully departed especially during this most Holy time of the year.
Holy Week is exactly just that a week and not a weekend. It is the holiest time for the entire Church. Often we take very lightly the responsibilities given to us by Christ. During this most Holy of Weeks the faithful are reminded of the enormous sacrifice that our Lord made with His death upon the Cross. The unfortunate reality however is that while we are ready to welcome the joy of the Resurrection we are not so quick to remember that before Christ Himself rose from the dead He endured death so that we may have life. We live in a world unfortunately which has trivialized the true meaning of Christian faith and sacrifice.
While the Resurrection should give us ample reason for jubilation and joy we should never forget the one inescapable reality of our Christian Faith and that is WE CANNOT HAVE CHRIST WITHOUT THE CROSS. YOU CANNOT HAVE RESURRECTION WITHOUT FIRST HAVING WALKED WITH CHRIST TO CALVARY. YOU CANNOT HAVE PEACE OF MIND WITHOUT FORGIVING SOMEONE ELSE AND REMEMBERING THAT CHRIST DIED TO FORGIVE YOU.
MAY THE SACRIFICE OF OUR LORD UPON THE CROSS LEAD YOU TO WORSHIP WITH US IN THE COMING DAYS.
